The new ADSL Tester D2061 is the
smallest hand-held ADSL tester available on the market.
It is the first to simulate and replace the DSL modem
on the network - the "Universal Modem" feature
- in such a small footprint. D2061 has been specifically
designed to verify each point of an ADSL link in order
to install, maintain and troubleshoot Asymmetric Digital
Subscriber Lines.
Using D2061 it is easy to obtain
a full set of ADSL line parameters including line
rate, line capacity, fast and interleaved bit rate,
noise margin and bits per tone. Its embedded digital
multimeter can also check for potentially dangerous
voltage on the line.
D2061 implements ATM functionalities
including the generation and processing of OAM loopback
cells with VPI/VCI selections and statistics. To test
a real connection using an optional adapter, D2061
simulates a POTS telephone terminal by tracing line
events. |
