The
MT8801C is the world's first manufacturing tester
for GPRS and HSCSD that supports all other major
cellular standards, including GSM 400/900/1800/1900,
PHS, PDC, DECT, IS-136, AMPS and IS-95. GPRS and
HSCSD utilise more than one transmission time slot
per GSM frame to achieve the higher data rates.
These multiple time slots place new demands on the
mobile's transmitter and receiver. The MT8801C has
been designed to test multi-slot transmissions and
reception. It also supports the ETSI GPRS test mode,
which ensures faster more reliable transmitter measurements.
